As a non-profit organization, MAGH has conducted several charitable events to help the American community and also took part in charitable causes in other parts of the world during natural disasters and pandemics. Our volunteers joined the officials to arrange shelters, serving food and providing medical assistance for the victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. Our volunteers worked for weeks to clean and rebuild the houses and provided food/water to the residents of Missouri City and City of Houston during Hurricane Harvey.
Our volunteers organized several food drives to collect food items and delivered them to the Houston Food Bank during the Covid-19 pandemic. In the past years, we organized several blood drives with MD Anderson Cancer Center and Gulf Coast Blood Bank.
Teaming up with "Let Them Smile Again", an organization that belongs to the MAGH members, we were able to organize free medical camps in Columbia, Mexico and India, for children with cleft lip palate and done corrective surgery to fix them.
